Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Head of Legal and Compliance and provide advisory services to business units on compliance or legal related matters for those investment products;
• Perform compliance checking and review on investment products;
• Liaise with external legal advisors in Funds setting up and liquidation, review and revise the offering documents, PPMs and other agreements;
• Liaise with SFC and other local authorities;
• Assist the Head of Legal and Compliance to update procedure manuals and ensure the processes are in compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies;
• Drafting and managing the roll out of Compliance policies, procedures and guidelines and any associated training requirements;
• Handle ad-hoc project when required.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in LLB /Accounting/ Finance Degree or with legal and compliance background;
• At least 3 – 5 years of legal and compliance experience in financial institutions, preferably in asset management industry;
• Familiarized with investment products;
• Sensitive and react to changing regulatory requirement;
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken;
• A strong team player with excellent inter-personal and communication skills;
• Prioritization and multi-tasking skills;
• Prompt and systematic decision-making skills with good analytical skills.
