The Product Specialist will work as a member of the Exchange Traded Product (“ETP”) team assisting in the advancement of the ETP industry with a particular focus on increasing ETP adoption in the private wealth and retail investor channels.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Research and conduct analysis new ideas for products and partners in the ETP space
• Work with sales and marketing teams to promote the adoption of the Hong Kong ETP platform
• Assist in the development of product positioning, marketing collateral, campaigns, thought leadership and website content
• Educate and train intermediary and retail channels to facilitate ETP knowledge and awareness
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with industry participants
• Build and maintain an expert level of knowledge of ETP vehicles globally, providing regular feedback on competitive intelligence and product development opportunities
• Prepare internal and external presentations, legal and regulatory reports and other materials as needed

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder
• At least 5 years’ experience in financial services
• Self-starter with strong initiative to produce and deliver in an active, small team environment
• Strong quantitative, communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience in data analytics, quantitative analysis, and/or data manipulation
• Exceptional writing skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to publically represent HKEX when engaging industry associations and conferences
• Fluency in Cantonese, English and Putonghua a plus
