Job Description

Purpose

This role is a member of the Group Finance team primarily focused on developing and maintaining finance systems that support the current and future accounting and reporting requirements.

How you can contribute 

The role will report to the Group Financial Controller with the following key responsibilities:

Reporting

  • Support the preparation of management reporting, forecasting, group consolidated financial statements and other reports (e.g. Daily Sales Dashboard)
  • Support the development of robust controls in the system framework supporting the reporting process (e.g. design, develop and implement system controls)
  • Support country submission into various finance systems and ensure information received from the countries comply with Group standards
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis and analytical reports for senior executive management

System development and Projects

  • Support the development of financial systems and procedures in support of financial requirements
  • Support strategic projects from an accounting system and data perspective
  • Refine and re-engineer finance processes in business units to achieve automation and cost savings
  • Design, develop and implement robust finance controls to govern and monitor activities within group entities

Who we are looking for  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in MNC , regional experience preferred
  • Change management experience required
  • Very strong systems knowledge and Microsoft office skills set especially for the Excel Macro.
  • Good understanding of businesses drivers and the ability to communicate with stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Good ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • High level of organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
  • Basic Insurance Management Information Knowledge
  • Highly proficient in English and Chinese
