Contribute to the overall success of the Global Banking and Market Asia Pacific ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Assist in the coordination and implementation of various global, regional and local regulatory initiatives covering global banking and markets. Coordinate and consolidate regular & ad-hoc management reports and self-assessment to Regional Management and Head Office covering all Asia Pacific entities. Coordinate and participate the implementation of Global or Regional projects, systems, workflows and controls. Keep abreast of all relevant regulatory and market developments in Asia Pacific.  Assess regulatory changes and their impact and advise on any major impacts. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of  respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk.

To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 5 years of compliance experience. Good knowledge of business activities undertaken and product provided in Asia, e.g. treasury, loans, deposits etc Thorough knowledge of the regulatory / supervisory structure of the local financial markets, current banking and securities regulations and industry best practices / standards. Sound communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
