Job Description

We are currently looking for an Assistant Vice President, Commercial Operations to join our Finance Division at the Corporate Office in Hong Kong. S/he will act as primary business partner between Finance and Commercial EVPs to report, monitor, and strategize the use of commercial funds to drive top-line business results and profitability. 

As the Assistant Vice President, Commercial Operations, we rely on you to:

  • Work with respective commercial leaders to drive best outcomes as well as provide support on financial modeling and analysis of commercial initiatives
  • Support Brands and Marketing to evaluate return of projects and investments (i.e. on top-of-funnel campaigns, loyalty program, etc.)
  • Work closely with Revenue Optimization team to drive channel profitability
  • Develop and improve systems that support the financial planning processes, and ensure they are in line across the Commercial Organizations
  • Own responsibility for the delivery and enhancement of management reporting in an understandable and actionable way for non-financial people

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent analytical skills, knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Modelling, and the ability to optimized business initiatives
  • Enterprising thinking mindset, can handle multiple priorities and able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • 10+ years of Finance and FP&A experience for a large multinational company, with at least 2 years in similar position; audit experience would be an advantage
  • A university degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related discipline; Master's degree, CPA or CFA is an advantage
  • Competence in MS Windows applications and financial reporting systems
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese to coordinate with colleagues locally and overseas

Additional Information:

  • Travelling required
  • Candidates with less experience would be considered as Senior Manager
