A great opportunity has arisen in a reputable MNC legal firm, located in Central.  They are hiring for an accounts officer, specialising within the Accounts Payable function.  The role will report to the finance manager, and will be responsible for all of the accounts payable aspect of the firm.  This company offers a competitive salary, and great benefits package

Job Duties:

 Accounts Payable

• Verify all payments to ensure we have all supporting documents and authorisation before making payments
• Ensure payments adhere to firm’s policies
• Code and input invoices and reimbursement claims into the system on timely manner (Experience with Concur system and handling corporate card will be an advantage)
• Execute payment run in the accounting system based on payment term
• Prepare cheques and bank payments
• Bank reconciliations
• Respond to all external vendors inquires in a timely manner.
• Respond to fee earners/secretaries’ inquires promptly
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications

• Accounting background
• Experience with Law Firm
• Experience with Elite or Aderant will be an advantage
• Proactive, with “Can Do” attitude
• Able to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions
• Able to meet deadlines and work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
• Demonstrates close attention to detail
