The department: Insurance Business Finance Department (ISF) is a business finance function supporting HASE insurance activities 

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Actuarial Science 
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting / audit experience in large corporation / leading professional accounting firms 
• Exposure to insurance companies or with knowledge of insurance products is an advantage
• Knowledge in actuarial principles is an advantage
• Good business sense, able to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Good people management & analytical skills
• A change agent, a good team player, eager to learn
• Proficiency in spoken & written English and Chinese
• Good hands on experience in MS office   

Responsibilities:

• Actively engage with key business partners to support the understanding of the business
• Maintain the accuracy & timeliness of management reports and analysis for senior management of the Bank
• Identify high risk areas or key issues to the business and make recommendations where appropriate 
• Build & maintain effective relationship with key local and global stakeholders 
• Track, analyze and forecast both the direct, intercompany recharge and indirect cost spend to budget and evaluate the recharges and overhead cost which were allocated to different insurance products 
• Thorough understanding of the recharge mechanism, in collaboration with both upstream and downstream to provide monthly cost analysis and insight to identify and drive opportunities to improve cost effectiveness 
• Produce financial plans/ budget jointly with business & other supporting function such as actuarial function
• Work & overseee effectively with both onshore & offshore team to maximize the available onshore business partnering time  

Candidate with less experience will be considered as an Assistant Manager position
