Job Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of accounting processes and strong internal controls to ensure governance over accounting and reporting activities
• Record daily general ledger entries, support month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with local / international accounting standards
• Prepare accounting schedules, details of accounts and other supporting documents for the purposes of accounts analyses and reconciliations
• Compile and organize financial information in a meaningful way to facilitate budgeting and variance analysis
• Gather and compile basic financial information and support superior in preparing financial reports (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements, etc.) for presentation to senior management
• Provide administrative support to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the timeliness, accuracy and quality of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Compile and distribute financial information, including ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by internal stakeholders
• Respond to queries and requests for information by external auditors to facilitate the auditing process and statutory financial reporting
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Finance and Accounting or related discipline and qualified student member of ACCA / HKICPA
• Minimum five years of full set accounting experience, and good understanding of the business and industry
• Demonstrate research and analytical skills
• Proven knowledge and application of local / international accounting standards, principles and practices
• Ability to work under pressure with tight schedule and work independently with attention to details
• Proven hands-on experience in SAP and / or Hyperion is preferred
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chine
• Proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
