The HKUST MBA Program Office is searching for a capable and self-motivated candidate to fill the role of Assistant Officer at the rank of Clerk II. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the appointee will provide administrative and operational support to the MBA programs, including the following key areas:

  • Student enquiries: Serving as the main and first point of contact for the MBA Program Office with a focus on full-time MBA students through handling all kind of enquiries professionally; and serving at the MBA student counter as the MBA office’s proxy.
     
  • Student Activities Coordinator: Coordinating the logistics and operations of student activities and courses such as program orientations, networking events, student clubs, Mandarin training, case competitions, company visits and global programs.
     
  • Administrative and Ad-hoc Support: Handling daily administration and ad-hoc projects as requested.

Applicants should have an associate or a bachelor degree with at least 1 year of work experience. The ideal candidate should have a proactive work attitude and capability in multi-tasking. The appointee should be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills. Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently are essential. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Working outside normal office hours will be needed. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
