Job Description

The Job  

 Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the talent hiring activities  and ensure a smooth and effective hiring process at all times for assigned area of business
  • Work with the Head of HR to identify ways to improve UMP’s capability to attract talent
  • Assist in recruitment projects such as career talk, recruitment days etc which build the UMP image as an employer of choice

 Compensation & Benefit and HRIS Management

  • Perform payroll and C&B administration of assigned areas and ensure all salary / staff movement / benefit actions are carried out timely and accurately
  • Assist in the development, enhancement and day and day management of the HRIS
  • Monitor data integrity and consistency in HRIS system

 Human Resources Services

  • Ensure all human resources actions such as promotion, salary adjustment, transfer, resignation and termination are executed in accordance with the local law and company policies
  • Compile various HR reports and statistics in a timely and accurate manner, e.g. headcount, budget, salary, turnover, etc in order to aid decision making of management

 Administration

  • Assist in managing the assigned general office administration functions, e.g. office renovation project, office maintenance, procurement of office supplies, other administrative and support functions  

 The Person

  • Bachelor degree or above in human resources or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of all-rounded HR experience, preferably in a service, retail or fast moving sectors
  • Hands-on experiences in HR operations and HR data analysis, good at HR system and excel 
  • Familiar with China labor law and local regulations would be of advantage
  • Strong client service focus with demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative and flexibility
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality at all levels of the role
  •  A ‘can do’ attitude along with enthusiasm and energy
  • Strong verbal and written English and Chinese communication skills
