Job Description

Our client is a renowned international hotel brand with a number of prestige labels under their umbrella. They are seeking for a Temporary Contract HR Administrator based in Hong Kong to cover the duties of HR Administration, Compensation & Benefits as well as other ad-hoc duties.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Compile associates’ records and maintain an accurate and up-to-date associate database in the Human Resource Management System.
  • Perform data entry and compile HR reports of continent office and hotel properties in Asia Pacific region for management’s review.
  • Provide support for preparing employment contracts for continent office, area offices and hotel properties in Asia Pacific region.
  • Issue personnel letters (e.g. visa application, employment proof, etc.) upon request for manager’s review and endorsement.
  • Keep proper employment and performance records in personal files in compliance with corporate policies and local statutory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain an effective tracking or reporting system pertaining employment contract and probation expiry.
  • Upkeep the job description database for Asia Pacific region.
  • Assist managers in delivering an effective and engaging on-boarding and off-boarding experience for associates based in HK or overseas.
  • Administer the logistics and communications of performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support the coordination of associate activities to drive the satisfaction and engagement level at workplace.
  • Make recommendations and offer solutions that take care of associates’ wellbeing and enhance the associates’ experience at workplace.
  • Assist in addressing associates’ enquiries on company policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Participate in ad hoc duties and projects assigned.

 

Main Requirements:

 

  • Degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hotel and Tourism Management or equivalent
  • 1-2 years’ relevant experience as HR generalist would be an advantage
  • Fresh graduates would also be considered
  • Well organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Possess a positive and can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
