Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical assistance to supervisor in preparing documents (such as document-based letters, case papers and hearing bundles) and papers to the Preliminary Scrutiny Panel
  • Provide administrative duties (such as arranging transcription services for disciplinary inquiry hearings and disciplinary inquiry hearings appeals), handle the record keeping of case files transferred from internal and maintain the records in the Integrated Management Information System
  • Arrange and liaise with the EAA’s witnesses for the disciplinary inquiry hearings
  • Provide assistance to case handlers in managing and updating the case files
  • Handle data input and record keeping
  • Keep the inventory of the office supplies and request for stationeries to the Finance & Administration Section
  • Coach new clerical staff
  • Other general clerical duties assigned by supervisor


Requirements

  • 5 passes in the HKCEE including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B), or 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
    • Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language, and Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects, or equivalent
  • At least 4 years’ clerical working experience (Candidates with less working experience may be considered for the post of Clerk)
  • Proficiency in software applications (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Chinese wordprocessing)
  • Meticulous and self-motivated
  • Mature personality and good customer service skills
  • Able to work overtime and under a tight deadline


Terms of Appointment
Competitive remuneration package commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointee will initially be offered a 1-year contract, subject to renewal upon satisfactory performance and the service needs of the Authority.
