Our client is a well known luxury brand with a strong presence in Asia.  A need has arisen to hire a seasoned HR professional to provide direction and support with the development a clear, consistent and streamlined HR strategies within the context of a well established growing business.  

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role is to oversee the overall HR and Administration function for Hong Kong and Macau with responsibilities as follows: 

• Full HR function including HR operations, talent development, championing effective performance management, introducing appropriate people related policies and procedures, talent acquisition and retention.
• To provide package of reward and recognition practices in attracting and retaining people
• To facilitate functional and commercial peers to provide a range of educational, developmental and training practices for employee learning and development
• Acting as business partner to management team to advise and coach the team on people related plans and matters
• To drive people and policy integration 
• To establish and implement recruitment and staffing strategies to support business priorities and expansion

The ideal candidate should be a degree holder with proven track record in generalist HR capacities gained from retail, hospitality or FMCG sector.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with full fluency in English and Chinese.  Well versed with employment practices and compliance requirement in responsible territories.
