Underwriting Assistant

(2-month contract, convertible to permanent subject to satisfactory performance and available headcount)

Responsibilities

•   Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence

•   Perform data entry and scan cheque into cheque log system

•   Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and

    copying of Department documents

•   Handle policy document printing; sorting and mail-out for policyholders and agents

•   Processes requests for new or renewal policies; endorsement & etc and enters adjustments

    to basic policy information, payroll, and premiums based as per standard work process

•   Perform underwriting support on risks identification and prepare quotation 

•   Monitor Department mail-box timely and work closely with share services on incoming request

•   Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•   Knowledge of operating standard office equipment

•   Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills

•   Good research skills and attention to detail proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and

    MS Outlook a must

•   Excellent communication skills – written and verbal English and Chinese
