We are currently looking for individuals with IT audit, internal controls and risk management backgrounds to join our Controls Assurance team.

Working with our leading clients in key industries in Controls Assurance team, you will be a generalist in identifying and managing IT and business controls across industries where you can gain exposure to:

• Manage/participate in various teams to assist the engagement partners in carrying quality financial statement audits and other controls assurance services (including Third Party Assurance reports such as ISAE3402 / SOC reports, sustainability reporting, etc.) to clients across various industries, including Banking, Insurance, Retail, Manufacturing, Property, Consumer Products, etc.;
• Manage/participate in all aspects of audit engagements including planning, administration, staff scheduling, staff coaching, execution and closely monitoring engagement progress to ensure pre-agreed deadlines and milestones are met.Ensure engagements are executed in accordance with firm’s methodologies and guidance and professional standards;
• Identify business development opportunities for value added services (incl data analytics and management, compliance reviews, technology risk management, cyber security management, project management) to clients based on the knowledge and understanding obtained via Controls Assurance;
• Provide guidance, coaching and constructive feedback to team members;
• Assist with the preparation of internal control memorandums and other forms of reporting to assess client’s internal controls and areas of improvement;
• Conduct different types of consulting assignments such as IT strategy reivew, system implementation, technology risk management, IT risk and controls related projects.

We are looking for high calibre candidates from any discipline who owns the following:

• A university degree majoring in accounting, Fianance/Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics Mathematics, and/or other business fields of study;
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience with Controls including in IT audit, IT controls, internal controls, risk management, business processes review, IT implementation/consulting with a reputable international accounting firm or multi-national corporation ( with less experience will be considered as associate);
• Any of the following professional qualifications would be an advantage: CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or CISM;
• Knowledge of operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows, AS/400, IBM Main Frame, etc.), database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, etc.) would be an advantage;
• Experience and knowledge on auditing and conducting security assessments for ERP solutions including SAP, Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamic, etc. would be an advantage;
• Experience and enthusiasm in client services;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good organisation skills with influencing skills / leadership potential;
• Drive to create a positive impact to our clients and the department;
• Flexibility to travel to out-of-town assignments;
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible to work longer hours if needed;
• A strong command of English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
