Elevate is recruiting for a Debt Capital Markets Lawyer with at least 5 years + PQE to work for an International Bank in Hong Kong on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate must be fluent in English and qualified in Hong Kong or a Commonwealth Jurisidiction.

The role is primarily to look after the bank's debt programmes and issuances thereunder.

This role would suit a Lawyer who is already based in Hong Kong or a UK/Australia based lawyer who is interested in a 6- months secondment to Hong Kong. You will ideally be able to relocate at short notice.

Essential experience and skills for success:

• Banking and Finance legal experience from an In-house environment or Top Tier Law firm
• Ability to respond in a time critical fashion to requests for review of documents and transaction related matters
• Ability to work independently but also to share know-how with colleagues
• Business English at excellent level, Mandarin and Cantonese are beneficial but not essential

 Qualifications:

• Lawyer licensed to practice in Hong Kong or Commonwealth.
