Company Description

Our client, a well-established asset management company, is seeking a Senior Dealer based in HK-regional office. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure best execution in order to provide value add to PMs as required 
• Keep track on news flow / corporate actions of companies. Assess market conditions and provide updates to PMs 
• Monitor broker executions, and review capabilities. Maintain relationships with sell side brokers 
• Ensure trades are in compliance with regulations in various local jurisdictions 
• Resolve post-trade issues in a timely manner 
• Assist portfolio managers to perform fundamental analyses of markets, sectors and companies and to generate investment ideas 
• Participate in ad hoc projects such as system implementation and re-engineering, and broker review

Requirements

• University graduate with degree Business Administration/Finance/Economics or related discipline
• At least five years of relevant trading experience in asset management sector, preferably with sizable asset managers. Experience in fixed income and FX is highly preferred 
• Detail-oriented and is able to work in a team-based environment 
• Strong presentation and communication skills 
• Good knowledge on trading system, and programming skills 
• Fluent in English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
