Job Description:

A wholly subsidiary licensed corporation engaging in RA 1,4, and 9 of a Hong Kong listed company in Central is seeking a Multi-Strategy Investment Manager / Analyst to cope with business covering private equity, asset management and proprietary investments, etc.

The high caliber is responsible for conducting investment analysis, due diligence to detailed credit analysis for deals both for China onshore and offshore real estate deals particular in Australia. Other duties include executing on approval deals and deal sourcing, identifying potential lenders as well as monitoring and making recommendation on market opportunities. 

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience in preparing financial modeling, forecasting, valuations and proposals relating to potential investment, asset acquisitions or property-related projects
• Involve in deal structuring and negotiation; ensure effective execution of investments
• Gather market intelligence of real estate sector and alternative investments
• Engage in post deal monitoring process, close contact with portfolio companies
• Keep abreast of market information on real estate development and investment
• Provide market feedback to company leaders regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and general product development ideas
• Develop new wealth management products, company offering materials, reviews of quarterly financial and accounting reports. Preparation and effective delivery of investment presentations
• Perform ad hoc assignments as per management requests

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline
• Min. 5 years’ experience in the financial and investment industry, particularly in real estate sector of Australia
• Solid accounting and financial knowledge and strong in financial modelling skills. Strong exposure across different asset classes
• Experience in property related or migration-linked investments is a definite advantage
• Extensive experience in bond or mutual funds evaluation; with global macro and multi-asset research capacity is preferable
• Excellent quantitative and interpersonal skills, strong communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Studied abroad and Mainland candidates are welcome to take the challenging position
• Holder of SFC type 1 and type 4 licenses, with type 9 license is an advantage
