Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the in-house databases (focusing on industry statistics and listed companies financial accounts)
• Implement and adhere to in-house pre-set measures of quality assurance and quality control
• Conduct secondary research, including collecting and analysing data from various sources
• Documentation of database related technical notes on regular basis
• Respond to internal and external users’ data enquiries
• Writing industries’ research note based on datasets to market in-house database products
• Monitor closely to the responsible industry news and trends
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• University Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting discipline
• At least 1 year related work experience
• Prior experience with market database products and familiarity with building and maintaining information databases preferable
• Excellent business communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, particularly in English and Putonghua
• Robust analytical and quantitative skills, sensitive to numbers
• Strong interpersonal skills and client oriented
• Self-motivated, focused, detailed oriented and multi-tasking
• Ability to work under stress and meet tight schedules
• Strong computer knowledge and proficient in MS Office particularly in Excel
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
