ITG is looking for a highly-motivated, fast-paced C/C++ Software Engineer to join our Market Data Services team.

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:

• Code, test, and debug new and existing software and develop enhancements to existing software per specifications
• Develop standard routines and utility programs and conduct software compatibility tests that resolve interface and system architecture problems
• Perform system modeling, simulation, and analysis in designing software programs and applications
• Work with market data vendor to design and implement Market Data feed handler
• Coordinate and work with other Market Data groups to solve highly technical and complex problems on multiple projects and provide consultative support to team members
• Collaborate with other technology leads to ensure a consistent design and compatibility with all interfacing products
• Perform maintenance on existing software products and document solutions

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

• 5+ years of expert experience with C++(STL, template, etc) on any platform in the trading or telecom industry
• Ability to work in a fast paced team-oriented environment
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of UDP/TCP/Multicast and network programing.
• Advanced multi-threaded knowledge
• Experience developing low-latency realtime applications.
• Experience with SQL/Java/C#/Python a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes  
• Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate quantitative and conceptual topics 
• Strong analytical skills with ability to design at multiple product levels
• BS/MS/Phd Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
