Requirements:

• Master Degree in Environmental Science / Management / Sustainability Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• Member of HKIE / REA / LEED(AP) / BEAM Pro / BEAM Assessor / GBL Manager /WELL(AP) or related professional qualifications
• Minimum 12 years’ relevant experience in environmental or sustainability development field, preferably with exposure in green consultancy & strategy development
• Well-versed in Hong Kong and international environmental standard and regulatory processes
• A passionate interest in sustainability development, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental protection in building industry, and committed to making a difference
• Strong knowledge and expertise in environmental and sustainability issues
• Experience in corporate social responsibility strategy and planning is preferred
• Experience in working with relevant major charities, NGOs, government departments, and activist groups on environmental issues is preferred
• Experience in preparing document submissions for different industrial competition, conference to promote green is preferred
• Strong sense of and proactive alertness to potential environmental and sustainable development issues
• A good communicator, excellent presentation and influencing skills
• Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance of sustainability consultants & contractors and drive the project / work progress to ensure the sustainaiblity items meets the required budget, standards, regulations and schedule.
• Comment on the designs and drawings prepared by the sustainability consultants / contractors to ensure the proposed sustainability systems / works are designed effectively and meeting the user requirement
• Collaborate with other sections / departments to lay out user requirements for project / works
• Prepare & provide financial estimates for green items and examine the green rating of certification for new / existing projects
• Review, comment and approve tenant’s services submissions according to Green Lease or Green Tenancy Guideline
• Keep track of the latest sustainability development in the industry in exploring new green technologies
• Supervise and support the team in providing green and sustainability per other departments’ requests, with a view to improve our green initiative, innovative and energy efficiency.
• Prepare documents submission for industrial conference, competition or presentation is required
• Perform any ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
