Department of Biology

The appointee is expected to purify ultra-long high quality of DNAs/RNAs from a variety of samples, including model organisms, cell line or human tissues. He/She is also expected to use the purified nucleic acids for building various sequencing libraries for Nanopore sequencing.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology.Candidates with strong background in genetics and biochemistry and knowledge of genome sequence analysis are preferred.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
