Department of Biology

The appointee is expected to develop online sequence database, sequence analysis pipeline and its mobile interface for data transferring and reporting of data analysis.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science. Candidates with strong background in programming with PYTHON, Java, MATLAB, SQL and/or C++ are preferred. Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating system is expected. Knowledge / Work experience in biology-related areas is preferred.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
