Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Perform cataloging of archive collections in accordance with professional archival standards
• Assist in the upkeep of the archival database
• Assist in maintaining the artifacts
• Assist in performing research on specific collections and historical topics for archival purposes
• Assist in project planning of archival, preservation and digitization projects
• Perform any other related duties

Qualifications:

• A recognized degree in Archival/Museum/Heritage studies, History or related disciplines
• Not less than 2 years of professional level experience in a special collections or archives environment
• Experience and knowledge of archival descriptive practices would be an advantage
• Knowledge in Photoshop and other multimedia technical knowledge would be an advantage
• A sense of responsibility, high self-motivation and the ability to perform daily job duties with minimal supervision
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
