Job Description
Responsibilities of Software Engineer:
- Provides direct expertise in the design and test of software/firmware applications in electronic home appliance products;
- Defines and implements software requirements for design to ensure product meets functional specifications and overall product requirements;
- Designs, develops and performs analysis of software for embedded MCU, real-time application;
- Analyzes and execute detail designs, integrates code and verifies correct system operation;
- Develops, debug, updates, and maintains coding integrity;
- Develops and recommends methods, tools and designs for software improvement.
Requirements for this Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer, Electronic or Electrical Engineering;
- 5 + years hands-on development experience with real-time embedded hardware, software design and development, and programming experience in C/C++. Object Oriented programming with knowledge of Electronic / Hardware interfaces and microprocessors preferable;
- Experience with 8bit/16bit/32bit MCU, such as Atmel, Freescale, …etc, both in C/C++ and low level assembly languages development;
- Experience with HW and IO interfaces, communication protocols/standards;
- Experience with Linux, or other real time operation system, OS kernel module, device driver development are definitely a plus.
