Responsibilities:

• Responsible for management and maintenance of production facility, utilities and equipment with PIC/S GMP quality compliance 
• Supervises project construction and timeline; ensures deliverables from contractor are satisfactory
• Manages and maintains HVAC, building automation system (BAS) and environmental monitoring system (EMS)
• Manages facility and utility performance tests such as air velocity, air visualization, filter integrity check and leak tests
• Oversees and schedules system maintenance and calibration activities
• Reviews maintenance contracts and closely communicates with external contractor providers
• Performs regular maintenance checks and manages spare parts inventory
• Assists in preparation of engineering standard operating procedures and investigations of deviations / non-conformance events
• Represents department in cross-functional teams and projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in mechanical, environmental or chemical engineering, or other related science disciplines
• With 2 years or above experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities; sterile knowledge is highly preferred 
• With good understanding in cleanroom design, performance test and regulatory standards such as DOH, ISPE, GMP and ISO requirements
• Proficiency in PC applications, including AutoCAD and MS Office
• Possesses strong sense of responsibility, teamwork spirit and good communication skills
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a surplus
