UTC Aerospace Systems/Goodrich Asia Pacific is looking for a Process Improvement Lead for our wheels and brakes repair facility located in Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong. This is a great opportunity to continue your career in the aviation industry and share your passion for continuous improvement in the business and on the factory floor. This role is responsible for leadingimplementing, and re-engineering processes and methods to ensure company objectives in the area of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.

• Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Ability to connect with the team on the shop floor/frontline and build a culture that embraces CI

 

Responsibilities

• Enhance site culture and appreciation for CI initiatives 
• Monitor and implement improvement activities for the business and shop floor 
• Plan, lead, facilitate, close and follow-up on improvement events and projects
• Prepare training materials, reports, and train employees on CI tools, skills and principles
• Assess initiatives and provide input and recommendations on future events and plans for deployment activity
• Develop and mentor others (and self) to become leaders in CI principles
• Work with colleagues across the repair network to benchmark best practices  
• Support and implement the company’s safety, environmental and health policy and participate in audit activities 
• Perform other duties as assigned

 

 

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above, preferably in business, technical, engineering or operations
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience 
• Applied knowledge on the use of CI and lean tools 
• Experience working at a manufacturing plant 
• Knowledge of lean, continuous improvement, six sigma 
• Excellent communication (fluent English and Cantonese) 
• Sound analytical and problem solving skills
