Roles and Responsibilities

1. Plan for plant assessment / PO (Process Optimization) project activities such as:

• Offsite: data collection, prepare and communicate agenda with client, logistic preparations etc.
• Onsite:  kick off meeting, review meetings with factory top management, conclude discussions and   report out

2. Lead plant assessment as per scope of PO

3. Develop project proposal based on assessment findings with details of program design, financial benefits

4. Provide coaching to factory team on lean tools and change leadership

5. Develop program details and prepare execution strategy for process optimization

6. Lead and implement PO activity ensuring active participation from internal and external team members 

7. Designing P&Ps (Process & Procedures) and consistently improve based on world class standards

8. Track / monitor project savings with pay back / ROI (Return On Investment) calculations

Requirements 

1. Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent (Industrial engineering or manufacturing systems is preferred)

2. Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with reputed lean consulting firm or manufacturing organization

3. Strong knowledge of lean tool and techniques 

4. Knowledge in VSM (Value Stream Mapping)

5. Knowledge in Kaizen methodology

6. Six sigma black or Masters black belt (Preferred)
