Responsibilities:

• Procurement of existing or revised or even own designed versions of production machines and packaging machines for our candle productions.
• Procurement of parts or replacement for our machines
• Improve and revise our current machines continuously to fit new needs and to enhance their efficiency
• Develop or revise our production tools to enhance their productivity
• Review and replace the manual processes in factories to doing by machine whenever the change is possible and cost efficient.
• Improve or change the production line set up to enhance their productivity
• Leading maintenance teams to do both regular and emergent maintenance works on all machines in our Vietnam and China factories.
• Creation, approval and maintenance of ongoing machine and tool design documentation (BOM, drawings, instructions,manual, etc.)
• Good procurement and maintenance records, to be filed systematically and are easily approachable
  
  

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma graduate or above in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10 years relevant experience in sourcing, improving and doing maintenance ofproduction machines and packaging machines for factory production lines.
• Proficient in / good at technical drawing softwareCAD/CAM
• With the ability to draw, and assemble / replace equipment
• Proficient in programmable logic controller PLC
• Familiar with pneumatics, circuits, motors, mechanical principles, mechanical structures and machining processes;
• With motor, encoder structure design and automation equipment mechanical designexperience is preferred.
• If having experience in LED products or related areas (Consumer Electronics, LED lighting/ luminaries, electronic toys etc.) will be an advantage.
• Proficient language skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Able to communicate with factory people, and with overseas and China machine and or parts suppliers and follow up orders independently
• Head office location: Wong Chuk Hang(Aberdeen),5 minutes walk from MTR station
• Working days: Monday-Friday, and Saturday half-day or alternately off
• Travel will be required:
  
  • To work with machine suppliers directly in China or oversea
  • To work in our China candle factory in Dongguan
  • To work in our Vietnam candle factory which is 2 hour drive from the capital Hanoi;
