A Far East Trading Company in Kowloon Bay is looking for a QA Technologist and details as below :

Responsibilities:

• Provide full range of engineering on products : Product Safety Assessment and consultation, technical documents development, internal lab test conduction & data analysis, external lab test coordination & verification, design recommendations for product modifications, final product inspection review.
• Coordinate, manage, and conduct multiple projects within tight deadlines.
• Liaison with suppliers, purchasing & QA team members and overseas buying office counterparts.
• Evaluate samples and recommend appropriate modifications on design of construction to comply European regulations.
• Work with vendor to resolve quality issue identified and drive for improvement. Obtain and learn updates on latest technology & requirements.  Deliver on time all assigned tasks to achieve the team common goals.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above; diploma holder with strong relevant work experience will be considered.
• Possessed at least two to three years of experience (preferably with chemistry, mechanical or electronic academic background) in households, premiums and accessories, seasonal and garden products.
• Fluent in Mandarin & English & Cantonese.
• Excellent communication skills towards colleagues and managers.
• Familiar with GPSD, Household, premiums and accessories, seasonal and garden products and other European Regulations, standards, and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills and time management skills.
• Day trip to China may be required.
• Immediate available preferred.
