Our client is a global consumer electronics manufacturer, due to their new business strategic growth, they are looking for a seasoned Director – process engineering to join their team

Responsibilities

• Lead the Process Engineering team to improve the process capabilities, quality and product reliability
• Examine the procedure, cost, variation from new product introduction to mass production, ensure manufacturing issues are resolved in timely manner
• Develop and maintain key plant process engineering metrics
• Work closely with Global Process Engineering with process improvement/enhancement activities
• Able to lead and drive standardisation across facilities in Asia

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
• 10 years or above process engineering experience in multinational organisation prefer
• Exposure to EMS, semi-conductor, PCB an advantage
• A problem solver with strong analytical and technical skills. 
• Good interpersonal skills and strong leadership
• Strong and thorough knowledge of process improvement tools
• Solid experience in effective collaboration with different stakeholders and various production units
• Knowledge of 6 Sigma FMEA, preventive action, and continuous improvement programs required. 
• Excellent command of English
• Open to candidates from different  nationalities with relevant experiences
• MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
