Responsibilities:

• Perform database related programming and tune SQLs
• Contribute to bank’s database design and compile with Enterprise database standard
• Support DBA’s tasks such as database installation and application configuration
• Provide application database support for testing environments of applications
• Design Backup/recovery strategy of database and perform testing/verification
• Support database performance tuning
• Manage re-indexing and re-organization of databases
• Trouble shoot the problems reported for database
• Support DR drills
• Support database patches, system upgrades, server migration

Requirements:

• University graduate in Computer Science or Information Technology related disciplines
• At least 4 years of working experience in database related application support.
• Solid experience in database programming
• Knowledge in Oracle ETL tool to support data warehouse application
• Knowledge of Oracle database application including RAC, ASM, DataGuard, data partitioning, JDBC, ODBC
• Knowledge in DB system performance tuning, capacity monitoring, SQL Tuning, Data Security, Backup & Recovery
• Sound knowledge on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms
• Familiar on other database systems, MS SQL, MySQL and DB2, is an advantage
• Good analytical, communication & project management skills, and able to motivate the team
