The Job:

• Assist to monitor, maintain and support AS400 system in a good order for HK and Non-HK business units
• Responsible for AS400 system administration including change control, CL programming, testing and bug fixing, applying PTF,  health checking on various system modules for HK and Non-HK business units
• Plan and schedule the preventive maintenance for AS400 system, support audit exercise on AS400 system
• Compile regular reports including daily health check reports
• Make recommendations to improve availability, capacity, and performance on AS400 system
• Support, develop, test, and analyze the Integral Life implementation
• Serve the needs of end-users such as trouble-shooting and answering their enquiries on system applications to ensure smooth operations.

The Person:

•   High diploma or above in computer science
•   IT related disciplines with at least 3 years working experience
•   At least 2 year experience on AS400 or Unix/Linux system administration
•   Candidate with less AS400 experience will be considered as assistant system engineer
•   Be familiar with the CSC SMART/DIARY and Life Insurance business is an advantage
•   Understand the process of software development life cycle.
•   Good command on both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
