Job Description
A great role on an exciting project in Central and Sha Tin for a fixed term of 12 months commencing immediately.
Role Responsibilites
• Provide Oracle EBS / PeopleSoft installation pre-requisites which are: Operating System Patches, Operating System Settings and Storage Requirement for the hardware installation and configuration.
• Create an Instance Strategy document and install / establish the Oracle Financials / PeopleSoft environment (application only) and database system environments for the following instance:
• Create Technical Architecture document/diagram
• Design and Configure the Oracle Database with DR, HA and encryption approach
• Configure the Oracle EBS / PeopleSoft System to integrate with Microsoft Active Directory
• Configure the Oracle EBS / PeopleSoft to integrate with Oracle Access Manager for Single Sign On
• Configure the Oracle Enterprise Manage to monitor both database and EBS / PeopleSoft system
• Configure the workflow mailer of Oracle EBS / PeopleSoft to integrate with the E-mail server
• Provide scripts for the Startup, Shutdown and Health Check of Oracle EBS / PeopleSoft and Oracle Database.
• Provide housekeeping scripts for Oracle Database log files such as Alert Logs, DB Dump Files, and etc.
• Configuration of the OS environment (provide "Patch list" for both App & Database servers; provide recommended OS parameter values (required by the Oracle EBS / PeopleSoft & Database)
• Closely work with Hardware Team to identify issues related to OS or hardware.
• Conduct application Performance Test, including writing testing plan and scripts, setting up the performance test tool and executing the testing
Key Requirements
• Fluent in written English and Chinese(Cantonese)
• Degree holder or above in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of Oracle E-Business Suite / PeopleSoft implementation experience as an infrastructure consultant with hands-on experiences on Oracle E-business Suite / PeopleSoft installation and administration tasks, e.g. EBS / PeopleSoft installation, instance management and cloning, patch installation and administration, database administration, etc.
• Minimum of 2 end-to-end Oracle Financial / PeopleSoft project implementation/upgrading experience
• Good understanding in application development using Oracle development tools, including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Workflow Builder, Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
• Able to work under pressure and minimal supervision
• Good verbal and written communication skills
