Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Implement APAS R&D Centre technology roadmap in Smart Mobility initiative and related products, focus especially in Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV) technologies
  • Initiate and build R&D projects from inception to implementation based on customer, market, industry and technology demands
  • Lead and manage R&D projects to keep project progress on track to completion. Ensure fully compliance with project goals and ITF requirements. Report project progress and issues in timely manner
  • Forge strong partnership with R&D partners and universities
  • Occasional travels to Mainland China are required

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics or related discipline with hands on experience in research and development work
  • Experience in one and more of the following areas preferred:
    • Automotive cyber security, autonomous vehicles, AI based embedded hardware/software and cloud-based mobility
    • Proven experience in system architecture design for automotive and related products with emphasis on cyber security or vehicle network security
    • Design and development of cyber security solutions for automotive or related applications
    • Strong programming abilities (C, C++, Python, Matlab) with hands on experience in embedded and cloud-based systems
    • Good knowledge on vehicle network, firewalls, cryptography algorithms, security architecture development, digital and wireless communication
  • Track record in managing and delivering innovative projects successfully
  • In depth knowledge of key industry trends such as Automotive Cyber Security, Autonomous, Connectivity, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data
  • Good writing skills for proposals, reports and publications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Mature, self-motivated, and analytical skills to solve technical problems
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
