Job Description
Job Purpose:
“Plans, directs and coordinates activities on Infrastructure projects to ensure that goals and objectives are achieved within prescribed time line, funding and more importantly from technical perspective”.
Key Accountabilities:
In addition to following Lane Crawford’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Subject Matter Expert (40 %)
- To be responsible for the technical architecture & design patterns for all Infrastructure related solutions, identifying new technology standards to ensure the governance of corporate architecture
- To be responsible in administrating OS(Windows/Linux), System(Exchange Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, ATG and Side module), VMWare
- To manage overall infrastructure services such as data center, network, storage, backup, desktop, etc
- To collaborate with different Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from other domains sorting out any potential issues during the design and implementation phases
Collaboration and stakeholder relationships (30%)
- To promote the adoption of the infrastructure related tools and metrics to the team and business users
- To assist in preparing the business cases such as budget, architecture, solution comparison, pros and cons for obtaining business approval
- To work with project managers and stakeholders on assigned and ad-hoc tasks throughout the project life cycle
- To work with other Technology teams leveraging a shared platforms and services to maximize the Return On Investment (ROI) and minimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) from Infrastructure perspective
Infrastructure sustainability (15 %)
- To introduce necessary standard, process and best practice for all Infrastructure services to ensure the SLA and compliance
- To review and update technical document to facilitate both operation and technical teams on performing daily support
- To troubleshoot problems, work out resolutions with team and escalate the problem to stake holder
- To collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) team defining the quality assurance test plans that meet the company practices and standards
Talent Leadership and Development (15%)
- To role model and reinforce the Lane Crawford Vision and Values and Customer Service Promise at all times
- To reinforce the LC heritage, Brand DNA and culture - storytelling and sharing success at every opportunity
- To provide the necessary leadership, coaching and guidance to your team to ensure commitment to achieve the Department/BU plan and Individual Objectives
- To personally demonstrate the LC Leadership Competency behaviors and use these competencies as a tool to coach and develop team members
- To build a personal connection with each team member
