Job Description
Our Client has a newly setup team in Hong Kong currently looking for a Data Engineer who will be a familiar with MySQL, Oracle and possibly MongoDB database. Someone who understands the entire data flow and structure of the databases and the specific pros and cons of each database because they needed to migrate their database from MySQL to Oracle, the candidate is expected to have sufficient knowledge in any of the programming languages such as Java, PHP, C++. The candidate will work very closely with the development team and the DevOps team to achieve CI/CD for automation. Someone who is also experienced in tuning the performance of database making the storage procedure faster and smoother
Requirements:
- 5 years+ experience in using databases
- Proficient in MySQL, Oracle and preferably MongDB
- Experience with performance tuning of database
- Experience in Java, C++ or PHP will be a big plus
- Experience working closely with developer and DevOps engineer will be an advantage
- Knowledge in SQL and ETL will be an advantage
- Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese
