Job Description

Objective

As an enthusiastic Senior Ad Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing company revenue by ensuring all aspects of our client service, campaign management, and implementation processes are optimized for efficiency in order to fulfill our booked revenue goals. This role will oversee a team of campaign & planning leads, facilitate best-in-class client service and to best operationalize campaign setup through our proprietary advertising tech stack. The suitable person for this role is both dynamic and goal oriented. While technical, he/she should have excellent internal and cross departmental communication skills. Responsibilities

<Ad Ops>

  • Manage a team of Ad Ops with leadership guidance necessary for them to manage their books of business
  • Coach and mentor Ad Ops members with tangible and frequent performance feedback, maximizing retention and career growth
  • Establish an accountable understanding of company revenue support in order to partner with sales management
  • Work with external media partners and internal technical team to ensure accurate platform implementation
  • Develop and maintain sales operational workflow for campaign management and trafficking implementation across all platforms and distribution partners
  • Effectively communicate digital strategies and rational for tactical approaches for the company
  • Post-launch benchmarks and conceive efficiency enhancements with measurable results
  • Work closely withProgrammatic, Ad Tech and Product teams, including how Ad Ops helps to drive new processes
  • Support and partner with various internal teams including Sales, Business Development and Finance teams
  • Develop, grow and maintain relationships through exceptional client service
  • Formulate proposals for new partner opportunities and attend meetings, as needed

<Data>

  • Performing deep dives and segmentation analysis
  • Partnering with various parties to develop strategies to improve customer engagement and conversion
  • Responsible for developing standard documentation for processes and data definitions
  • Providing and presenting analysis and data driven recommendations to key stake holders through storytelling and visualizations
  • Providing insight and recommendations on testing (A/B, multivariate, etc)
  • Implementing tagging requirements for data collecting, managing and reporting on web analytics, digital advertising properties and other website metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, Tealium)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, statistics, or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Digital Ad Operations and Data Analysis
  • At least 3 years of experience managing or mentoring multiple individuals in a similar role
  • Detailed comprehension and experience in trafficking, including VAST and VPAID
  • Firm understanding of digital marketplace & open platforms (e.g. Facebook, Google AdWords, DBM, AppNexus), media vendors, and third-party technologies (e.g. DCM, Sizmek)
  • Expert problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent client and interpersonal skills, with a flexible attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and must also be a logical thinker with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to understand business reporting requirements and provide analysis that meets the business needs
  • Understanding of tag management and its functions
  • Excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills and detail orientation required
  • Experience in web-based analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), data visualization programs (e.g. Tableau, Google Data Studio) and tag management systems (e.g. Tealium, Google Tag Manager)is a plus
  • Understanding of basic coding languages (e.g. JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5) is a plus
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Ad Operations Manager
