This role will act as the valuable mediator between the customer and suppliers to deliver the highest standard of service for their lingerie and swimwear products.

Key Result Areas

• Secure and grow the share of wallet with customers, ensure the team has sufficient preparation before negotiation meetings during the buying season
• Advise buyers on order placement decisions and provide suggestions on price negotiation
• Perform end-to-end proactive order follow up by collaborating with buyers and suppliers
• Keep abreast of changes and upcoming trends in the industry by visiting suppliers and fairs
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with suppliers and regular review of their delivery performance
• Contribute to future supplier strategies and Identify potential suppliers to find a viable solution
• Measure product performance compared to agreed quality standards and facilitate corrective action plans
• Monitor and maintain compliance at all time with social and quality requirements
• Occasional travel will be required
  
  

 We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience

• Minimum 6 years garment merchandising experience in sizable buying office
• Underwear / Lingerie experience is a MUST
• Factory experience would be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office programmes – Word, Excel, Office 365
• Sales-driven, commercial orientation
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and good team player
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) with additional fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin
