Job Description

 

Summary

This role will initiate and lead intra- and intercompany projects in operations, working with management and multiple stakeholders across the board in Hong Kong and overseas to drive change and operational success. The PM/APM will analyse, consolidate, standardise, streamline and optimize all workflows throughout the day-to-day operation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the research, analysis, formulation and presentation of integrated company strategies (business, HR, IT etc.) across the group companies (HK, Bangladesh and EMEA)
  • Initiate and manage projects, from identifying project scope / objectives / parameters / methodology / deliverables, developing project plans to leading execution. Work closely and serving key stakeholders and may lead a virtual team across countries and divisions
  • Develop project plans, process flow/role mapping and other relevant project management tools with specific milestones and ownership
  • Set up work-streams as needed and coordinate throughout the process; including development and delivery of communications and education resources
  • Act as advocate of the projects and gain buy-in from key stakeholders
  • Identify, mitigate and timely escalate risks, trouble-shoot and propose alternatives
  • Develop business cases, presentations and reporting for senior leadership as appropriate
  • Drive high priority initiatives incl. data analysis, BI, digital projects etc.
  • Systematize/upgrade all major processes and rules internally for Merchandisers and Support Staff, and externally for Suppliers, develop internal training/guidelines manuals and supplier handbooks
  • Work with HQ in Europe and key customers to improve workflows
  • Ensure the on-going fine-tuning of newly established internal systems
  • Consolidate sourcing plan and capacity blocking in cooperation with management, merchandisers, suppliers and key accounts
  • Assist with internal and external communications, branding and marketing
  • Support any other ad hoc assignments as required by management

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience, ideally in fashion sourcing operations with European companies or international strategy / management consultancies
  • Hands-on experience in driving regional business projects independently / directly under top management
  • Excellent project management skills and practical knowledge of project management tools, good at multi-tasking and prioritization.
  • Self-starter, strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn. Passion to take on challenges and make things better
  • Strong research, analytical, presentation skills. Tech savvy
  • Strong team player who can work independently and under pressure
  • Pleasant, professional, mature. Can see eye to eye with stakeholders across all functions and cultures
  • Above-average interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with / reporting to senior managers / top management a big plus
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Chinese (Cantonese) / German a bonus
  • Willing to travel occasionally
