Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the Advocacy and Community Research Team of AIDS Concern
2. Initiate, develop and monitor the Team’s advocacy plans and programmes regarding AIDS/HIV and anti-stigma topics
3. Promote advocacy plans regarding community research, mobilisation of community stakeholders, legal and policy issues in accordance to agency policy position needs, and write up proposals and reports
4. Develop and maintain relationships with other NGOs, academics, government officials and other related bodies working on advocacy and community research
5. Handle any ad hoc projects with internal and external parties as required

Required Qualifications

• Holder of a bachelor degree in a relevant discipline (Political/Public Policy, Public Health, Communications)
• 5 years’ experience in programmes or advocacy with supervisory exposure
• Keen interest and commitment to advancing the rights of minority
• Excellent written and verbal communications in English is necessary
• Ability to work, communicate and advocate with a broad range of stakeholders including policymakers, government officials, NGOs, the media and community representatives
• Candidate with more experienced may be considered as Manager of Advocacy and Community Research
