Responsibilities:-

• Play a key role as a member of the senior management team in setting up company policies and guidelines in the biomedical technology cluster and value added services
• Direct and control business development activities in several regions relating to biomedical technology such as therapeutics/diagnostics/health informatics/medical device and its incubation programmes
• Responsible for the formulation of the required infrastructure needs (equipment, plants / space and Human Resources) to support the Biotech companies and incubatees pursuing biomedical technology
• Initiate planning, developing, co-ordinating and executing RnD, marketing and business development policies and programmes
• Direct and coordinate biomedical  laboratory services for supporting companies and incubatees 
• Prepare board papers for acquisition and implementation of infrastructure / equipment relevant to drug discovery and development including regulatory guidelines and IPO listing
• Prepare board papers for admission of potential tenants to the Science Park and Industrial Parks
• Oversee the due diligent studies of applicants
• Plan, coordinate and analyze survey studies on marketing needs and cliental requirements and customer satisfaction
• Manage a team of scientists, MD and PhD staff
• Collaborate with international business development team/overseas representatives in delivering their duties
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Requirements:-

• University post graduate degree holder in Life Science / Biotechnology related disciplines
• Minimum 15 years’ relevant work experience in the biomedical technology sector and 10 years in a senior management position
• Aggressive, dynamic, mature and have a flair for entrepreneurship with superior interpersonal skills with all levels of staff and external contacts
• A proven track record of accomplishment in therapeutics and having a professional network of contacts in the region and overseas
• A good command of English and Chinese, written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills
• Knowledge of drug discovery, drug development, DMPK, GLP toxicology studies and animal models for drug efficacy testing and GMP manufacturing is a definite advantage
• Understand the current biotech evolution and be able to scout for disruptive technologies in different sub-cluster areas 
• Excellent management skills for developing scientists and staff
