Job Description

Functions and duties

To ensure smooth handling of daily sales activities for the HK station through the following areas:

  • Develop and manage our Global and Principle Key Account Portfolio in the assigned area
  • Formulate and implement business strategies and lead Key Account Team to achieve the objectives and tasks assigned by Vice President - APAC and Headquarter (HQ)
  • Develop and executive a comprehensive account management plan for achieving sales tonnage and revenue targets, increasing market share for designated segment, creating Company value, enhancing corporate brand, and surpassing customer expectation.
  • Identify and recognize tactical priority in business development according to the company strategy and sales policy.
  • Work and collaborate closely with local sales, customer service and product teams, to fulfill specific requirements of particular accounts as well as to maximize the end-results of each task.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report market situation in the assigned sales area, identify and recommend new business opportunities for specific accounts
  • Establish analytical and forecast system for well-monitoring the customers’ profiles and performance fulfillment, forecast for upcoming business trend.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales and Business Development field in airline or logistics industry, working with European is preferred.
  • Good understanding of basic principles of market economy, logistics and international trade.  Knowledge in regulations and practices relevant to the air freight industry is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and sound negotiation skills in dealing with different types of customers, across different functions and nationalities.
  • Proficiency in English.  Native English is preferred.
  • Adaptability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Pleasant, open-minded, result-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Applicants with higher qualifications can be considered as Key Account Director.
