Responsibilities

• Implement quality & food safety systems
• Maintain and improve quality & food safety standards
• Ensure compliance of food and operations to local regulations
• Conduct regular store audit to check and monitor hygiene and food safety practices, validate quality system and initiate solutions for improvement
• Work with operations and chefs in carrying out regular reviews on product quality and provide regular training to upkeep requirement and awareness
• Facilitate the resolution of potential food safety issues and work with cross-functional team to fix improvement areas
• Provide technical assistance in customer recovery to ensure customer complaints and enquiries on food and packaging are managed efficiently and effectively
• Perform product complaint management and work with operations to rectify issues at store level
• Conduct product testing for stability of ingredient, shelf life, quality standard and sensory taste

Requirements

• University graduate Science, biology, food science or related disciplines
• 8 years QA relevant experience in food or catering industry, of which 2 years shall be at managerial level
• QA experience at store is a must
• Able to apply technical knowledge in store operations environment and transfer this knowledge to store QA personnel
• Strong communication skill, and be a good team player
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
