Job Description

 

General Purpose:

Corsair Holdings (Hong Kong) Ltd. has a large presence both in the area operationally, with major contract manufacturers and a large distribution to China, as well as Asian and European countries.

We are looking to hire an experienced finance professional with significant Accounting, Finance, Tax and Treasury experience that can operate largely independently within our Hong Kong office.

This individual will be responsible for all concerned Financial activities and general HK Corporate administration for Hong Kong

 Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of local financials statements at month/year end and ensure compliance with local and US GAAP where required and as directed by HQ;
  • Manage the local auditing and also external relationships with Auditors and Tax advisers (KPMG), and Hong Kong tax authorities etc;
  • Support the cash and Treasury management within HK;
  • Support the HK vendor contracts (except those managed by Central procurement) to ensure value for money and be proactive around contract renewal dates;
  • Support all NDA Agreements approval/signing procedures.
  • Report on all HK entities capital expenditure;
  • Support the HK FP&A activities – monthly forecasting. Quarterly and Annual Budgets;
  • Responsible for maintaining the intercompany balances with other Group companies;
  • Support all HK sales order approval as directed by the Corporate Controller within Oracle;
  • Responsibility for all HK taxation affairs and liase with Group Tax Director as directed- employee taxation, corporate tax, sales tax etc;
  • Support all local legal affairs and liaise with the Group General Counsel and Paralegal to ensure compliance with Group policy and local regulations at all times, including organization of annual local Board meetings;
  • Work closely with local and Group HR and Asia HR Director and provide support on local personnel/payroll issues;
  • Provide local support to the functions heads cross regions;
  • Responsibility on general HK corporate administration.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • University Degree and above, qualified accountant is a plus;
  • >7 years of experience within senior finance professional roles within multi national companies;
  • Progressive advancement in accounting roles in Consumer Electronics industry, particularly within manufacturing or distribution;
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in banking/Forex practices;
  • Being efficient communicator within Finance and with other groups, cross functions and regions;
  • Familiar with ERP (Oracle) system, and with systems and process improvement experience;
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of dealing with auditors, HK Tax Bureau and tax advisers;
  • Hands-on experience, from detail to higher level, in a large company that is publicly-held and headquartered in the USA
  • Government departments filing
  • Project management skills to complete long-term tasks and keep others on track with deadlines, including leading project teams with international representation;
  • Effective skills in working with domestic and international staff;
  • Strong negotiation skills would be a huge advantage;
  • Self-starter who can resolve issues with minimal direct supervision;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Fluent English capability, both in writing and speaking.
