Responsibilities:

• Engage in the entire system development life cycle, such as gathering user requirements, designing, planning, coding, testing and implementing systems on e-Commerce systems.
• Manage requirements and monitor the project progress throughout project life cycles.
• Acquire new technologies to improve the competitiveness, features, and operation efficiency of existing products.
• Translating clients’ requirements into architectural designs and technology solutions.
• Act as a team leader to drive and monitor the development project.
• Ensure the smooth, stable and secure operation of existing database, servers and networks.
• Collaborate with UX design team and QA team to ensure the digital solutions are in excellent performance and quality.
• Perform and support various testing activities including unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.

 
Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
• With 5 years or above solid IT experience including at least:
• 3 years in web system architect design,
• 5 years in web development,
• 2-year in Cloud services administration & support,
• 3-year Database administration & support,
• 3-year in e-Commerce related system development
  *Talents with less exposure in some of the areas mentioned above would also be considered.
• Expertise in cloud computing cluster design and familiar with Git.
• In-depth technical knowledge on Linux and Windows servers, cloud technologies and infrastructure.
• Proficient in one of the following language skills is required including
• Python/ NodeJS/ Java
• Solid experience with container technology (Docker) or Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of web development flow and available to work on command line environment and shell scripting.
• Solid experience on project management skills.
• Good command of written English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Team player and positive can-do attitude.
• Good problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
