Our client is a HK sizable corporation with business in HK and China.

Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for assisting the Compliance Department with the implementation and ongoing oversight for the key legal and regulatory compliance matters for Hong Kong and China
• To lead the range of projects including planning, executing, and ensuring the timely completion of reviews of compliance and internal controls
• To be involved in developing policies and procedures, conducting gap analysis between business practices and legal & regulatory requirements
• To assist with the development of monitoring testing and processes , the embedding of routine monitoring and reporting for all compliance matters
• To assist in the handling of compliance incidents, liaising with external regulators and preparing incident reports
• To assist with the implementation of the Governance Risk and Compliance system
• To provide advice and guidance to business units on compliance matters  

Requirements:

• A degree holder in law, finance, accounting, business or other related disciplines
• At least 10 years of experience in operational compliance, quality assurance  or internal audit department of a conglomerate or a sizable corporation
• Experience in compliance reviews, assessing risk and internal controls, business process mapping and compliance reporting
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical mind with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
