Job Description:-

• Communicate with Principals/ Owners on matters regarding crew changes. Prepare crew change plan well in advance and submit;
• Coordinate with manning agency & Monitor status of seafarer for Pre-Employment Medical Examination;
• Coordinate with manning agency to ensure Statutory & Mandatory, National & International (STCW), Flag State and Principal’s requirements for joining seafarers are met. Ensure that entry visa requirements including US Visa (if required) are met;
• Coordinate with manning agency to ensure flight bookings for joiners and off-signers are monitored;
• Coordinate with vessel’s agents and manning agencies regarding crew changes (if required);
• Manning Budget sheets for manning companies to prepare and monitor the cost. Check the DA invoices from agency and assign the correct codes as per company accounting system;
• Manning Budget for owners to prepare according to budget received from manning agencies and submit to Marine Manager for review once a year;
• Checking and verifying the invoice from manning agency monthly and arrange their payments on time. Assist arrange CTM in liaison with manning offices, when requested by the vessel;
• Updating and maintain record of personal details and employment particulars of ex-crew including forward planning. Maintain the performance evaluation of crew members on board;
• Crew monthly reports and documents to maintain as per company forms. Monthly basis check and coordinate with manning agencies to confirm if all certificates of sailing crew is valid and contracts are valid;
• Maintain and update records of crew changes;
• Initiate the prevention of non-conformance within the Department and report Marine Manager;
• Coordinating and arranging pre-joining briefing of all senior officers with manning agencies;
• Follow up the ship’s request for medical checkup and inform owners. Update records of medical checkup;
• Maintain record of early disembarkation of the crew and P&I cases. Communicate with P&I;
• Update fleet movement list;
• Handling the day to day operations for crewing and manning;
• Assist Marine Manager in implementing the Quality Management System;
• Perform such other functions as may be prescribed by the MM and/or GM.

Requirements:-

• At least 2 years experiences in ship management or related logistics and shipping industry;
• Good command of written & spoken English, knowledge of Mandarin will be advantage;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Mature, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and willing to learn;
• Immediate availability is preferred.
