Job Description
SWIFT Professional Services division of around 100 people delivers over 30 different types of services and support offerings to our end customers in Asia Pacific. The portfolio has grown significantly in the past years, and we are now looking to add a dedicated role within the organization which will focus on leveraging data to further transform our division in order to address the evolving needs of our customers.

Responsibilities
With an analytical mind, an inclination for problem-solving and attention to detail, the Senior Data Specialist will focus on the following areas:
APAC Services Data Strategy Definition and Evolution
- Refine and finalize key priorities and objectives with APAC Professional Services management
- Define and execute pilot on agreed objectives to orientate services data strategy and ambitions
- Analyze and present outcome and recommendations on next phase of services data strategy roadmap
Services Data Strategy Execution and Adoption
- Elicit business requirements and specifications from operations and key stakeholders, based on finalized and agreed key priorities
- Design, develop and deploy dynamic & interactive dashboards, operational scorecards, ad hoc and canned reports based on requirements and using data tools and solutions
- Evangelize and energize APAC teams to embrace and contribute actively to the APAC services data strategy
- Train staff & management into accessing, updating and using identified data tools
- Interact with other groups within SWIFT to share analysis, outcomes and best practices
Data Source Collection & Management
- Identify and create an inventory of relevant data sources and repositories, internally within SWIFT as well as external data resources
- Where applicable, collect and organize data and information from a variety of sources to enrich existing data sources
- Maintain integrity and improve accuracy and richness of data sources where relevant
- Recommend and create suitable mechanism for customer interaction data to be fed back into data source for analysis and action
Global Data Analysis Alignment
- Single point of contact between APAC and HQ on services data strategy
- Ensure full alignment with SWIFT’s global data strategy. Share APAC data sources and analysis with HQ, and obtain relevant global data sources and outcomes to enrich outcomes for APAC objectives
Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics or Information Technology or another quantitative field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Familiar with standard concepts, best practices, and procedures in designing data visualizations
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships across the organization
- Ability to communicate the results of the analysis to non-technical and technical audiences in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to quickly learn and apply domain expertise across various services teams (e.g. technical consulting, support, advisory services, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The following skills are an asset:
- Report and Dashboards using in Tableau, QlikView, Cognos, Business Objects
- Knowledge in SWIFT products, services and solutions
- Experience in market infrastructure (i.e., central bank, stock exchange, clearing house, central securities depository ...) systems or operations
