Job Description

Safilo is looking for a proactive and skilled HR Admin & Payroll Officer to support the growing HR team and the Safilo Regional Headquarters colleagues in all daily HR administration activities, as well as taking full ownership of key processes such as payroll and on-boarding procedures for new staff.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Payroll:

  • Monthly processing of New Joiners, Leavers and Changes to Employee Details;
  • Payroll/Salary related calculations;
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of Employee records;
  • Liaise with outsourcer for payroll related reports;
  • MPF Remittance Statement, checking and ensuring delivered on time with correct payment;

 Administration:

  • Assist Employees with Individual Tax Return enquiries;
  • New Joiner Administration;
  • Issue & Process HR related forms and paperwork (IRD, MPF etc);
  • Assist with Employment visa Applications;
  • Process and update leave records, including annual leave, sick leave, compensation leave etc.;
  • Process all Employee Attendance Reports;
  • Maintain Employee Personnel Files;
  • Process Medical Claim’s for Employees;
  • Enroll new Employees to Medical Insurance providers;
  • Assist Employees with general enquires about insurance cover;
  • Responsible for issuing Probation Evaluations forms and coordinating with the Learning & Development Manager;
  • Answer Employee general enquiries e.g. leave, how to process claims, AL approval etc, AL balances;
  • Support the other members of the HR Department with general Admin.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in HR and Payroll in Hong Kong
  • Strong knowledge of HK Labour Law
  • Knowledge of income Tax regulations and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, formal education in Human Resources management is a plus
  • Fluent written and spoken Cantonese and English are a must
